Visits
We are always looking for ways to bring the curriculum alive and educational visits play an important part. When planning an area of work we identify what opportunities are available to enhance the theme. Sometimes bringing visitors to school is the most cost effective way of doing this. However getting out and about visiting places is an exciting and usually memorable experience.
Unfortunately there is insufficient funds in the school budget to cover the costs of visits and we do rely on the support of parents through voluntary contributions. We always seek to keep costs as low as possible. We can sometimes support some pupils financially where funds permit. Details are sent with the information booklets.
Residential Visits
We have two residential visits planned into our Year.
Year 4 visit Grafham Water for 3 days and 2 nights and complete a variety of outdoor adventure activities both on and off the water.
Year 6 visit Kingswood in Norfolk over a long weekend for 4 days and 3 nights. This visit includes a number of high and low climbing activities and many problem solving challenges.
